With strokes greater than 16mm, our long stroke dampers are suitable for mechanisms that require the damping action to be spread over a long course. Long stroke dampers are usually needed for systems with heavier weights or faster initial speeds. They operate in temperatures from 0°C to 40 °C (from 32 °F to 104 °F).
|Diameter of cylinder:||7.9, 9mm|
|Diameter of piston rod:||2mm|
|Damping characteristics:||final release|
|Damping forces:||from 3.5N to 20N (at 1000mm/min)|
|Standard stroke lengths:||from 16mm to 50mm|
|Piston rod return:||spring, mechanical|
|Operating temperature:||0 to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F)|
|Storage temperature:||20 °C to 70 °C (-4 °F to 158 °F)|
|Material of piston rod:||stainless steel|
|Material of cylinder:||plastic|
|Piston rod return (resetting):||
mechanical (without spring: the piston rod is mechanically pulled out into the starting position) or automatic (with spring: the piston rod is automatically reset by the internal spring).
For optimal damping performance, we can adapt our standard dampers by customizing their damper connection, damping force and damping characteristics.
